What’s LeBron James’ secret to success?
Before Team USA’s victory over Nigeria on Thursday, James tweeted several photos of himself getting loose. The exercises worked, as James racked up six points, five assists and two boards in just 11 minutes of play.
King James has taken a liking to Pilates, and he even got teammate Dwyane Wade hooked.
While Pilates is somewhat uncommon for NBA superstars, James has adopted the routine in order to strengthen his core muscles and keep his body fresh. And after earning MVP of the NBA’s condensed regular season, MVP of the Finals and now a starring role on Team USA, it’s safe to say James’ workout has paid off.
LeBron’s tweet continues a series of behind-the-scenes shots of Team USA and their unique ways of preparing for their Olympic competition. For Coach K, it was doing yoga. For Deron Williams, it was bench-pressing his daughters.
